The "lore" is that you need to be going about
25 to 30 -- I've never had to try it, although
when I took mine out of winter storage, it took
so long to start that the battery went low and
I had to hook a charger to it (in Start mode).
It started right away, leading me to believe that
the low condition of the battery also provided
a spark that was too weak. Now, when I store it
for more than two or three days, I need to charge
it because it starts hard.
I'm contemplating buying a new battery.
